EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH JANUARY: Tannay is a diligent worker who approaches assignments with enthusiasm and positivity. She completes all projects and tasks efficiently and ahead of schedule, and always looks forward to the next challenge. Tannay demonstrated excellent attention to detail and adherence to protocol in ensuring a seamless annual TSA inspection. Overall, she did an amazing job!

The Burkart Award

Values close to our heart

We started the Burkart award to honor the values embodied by our beloved colleague Robin Burkart, General Manager of LTL Operations, who passed away in June 2022. His unique attributes included a positive and caring attitude, empathy, and the ability to help rally his team in the most challenging situations.

This non-performance-based award is selected based on the following:

  • Exemplifying a positive attitude and willingness to help others before themselves
  • Finding that silver lining in all situations and helping rally their team, even in the toughest situations
  • Showing a caring attitude to all IL2000 team members, not just their direct team
  • Demonstrating empathy

Cody Duvernois

Operations Account Manager


Cody’s positivity and cooperation made him a shoo-in for this year’s Burkart Award.

Cody’s leadership skills stood out among his peers. He is willing to help others achieve success and encourages asking questions without judgment. He goes beyond being a good leader by caring deeply about his employee’s feelings. He shares information with his team, continually educating them and helping them learn from experience.

Cody provides guidance and support in challenging situations, keeps his team informed about progress, and shares his learnings. Following these situations, he ensures his team understands what transpired and how to prevent similar occurrences in the future. His dedication to education, positivity, and refusal to place blame are evident. His leadership shines as he guides and supports his team.

Always proactive, Cody takes the initiative to lead without being asked. He actively builds connections with other departments and is always eager to face challenges. When other teams are short-staffed, Cody steps in, maintaining a positive attitude and adapting to changes. His colleagues consistently find him a pleasure to collaborate with, day after day.

Another attribute that makes him stand out is being readily available to anyone. Cody has an answer to every question, even if he has to consult and comes back with a response. He always returns a positive response. Even when his workload is heavy, he’s attentive and empathetic.

We value his excellent sense of humor, great aptitude, and contagious positive attitude in our team. It’s the norm for Cody to find a positive side of things, even in the worst scenarios, and get us all facing in the same direction.

His infectious energy and attention keep everyone focused on the big wins.

Tammy upholds the meaning and importance of this award in every way.

When Tammy started working at IL2000, she quickly identified and took action to make her team more efficient. A year and a half later, she continues to guide her team in the right direction with empathy and the perfect balance of a firm and soft touch.

Tammy is an excellent resource to new employees, answering all their questions when they ramp up with IL2000 and a reliable resource to other teams regardless of the hour or day. Her conversations are informational and concise but also positive and fun. 

She understands that if one of us succeeds, we all succeed and shares her knowledge, time and experience with others often.

Tammy is always there for you. She is hardworking and has that spirit that makes you want to laugh and smile all the time

Oscar embodies the true essence of a team leader, consistently going above and beyond to assist his colleagues in solving any challenge. With exceptional communication skills and an infectious attitude, he creates a positive and enjoyable work environment. Moreover, Oscar extends his support beyond his own responsibilities, lending a helping hand to other teams in achieving their goals, especially during those busy times.



Carlos Rucker (Default - Blue Canvas)


Carlos has a great attitude towards all his fellow employees. He has made several internal improvements to our system, including a significant development in claims processing especially aiding the client services team. He is always front and center in helping to push our IT projects along.



Will Cavaliere (Default - Blue Canvas)


Will jumps into any project headfirst and never looks back. He manages very demanding accounts that never sleep and does so with an infectious smile. His customers praise the communication and hands-on service he provides. He has made a big impact on IL2000 and his customers since he joined earlier this year.

Ted is the very definition of Stunning Client Service, going above and beyond to exemplify our core values. He never sleeps, working tirelessly to better IL2000 and our client’s operations. Ted channels his positive spirit when streamlining communication for more productive customer meetings. He takes ownership and pride in what he does and doesn’t shy away from the hard work and dedication needed to develop IL2000 and our customers.


Riley Creps (Default - Blue Canvas)


Since joining IL2000, Riley has made a name for himself as always acting professionally, embracing a true positive spirit no matter how difficult the situation, and being engaged, insightful and responsive. He’s quick to offer his past experiences to help out. Riley’s excitement and energy is contagious. Customers call him Lance Bass from N-Sync and say he has the voice of a Red Sox commentator!

Juan Lastra (Default - Blue Canvas)


Juan stepped into his leadership role without prompting. He supports in many areas, including training and creating SOPs, is always available to help his colleagues, and offers excellent ideas for work efficiencies. His positive attitude resonates with the team, and his hilarious jokes raise spirits!


Rachel Clark (Default - Blue Canvas)


Rachel Clark has a contagious personality, and her positive attitude is known across every department. She is always the first to raise her hand and help out. Her colleagues describe her as compassionate, smart, awesome, dedicated, go-getter, motivated, consistent, and genuinely lovely. Rachel has made an impact in her department and across the board.

Brooks is always professional and kind and exudes business knowledge both internally with colleagues and externally with customers. He hit the ground running when he joined and hasn't let off steam yet. Brooks has been instrumental in bringing on new clients and helping with implementation. He is working hard to take IL2000 to the next level.

Cody is always energetic and happy and has a great rapport with our clients. He is unafraid to share process improvement ideas and works hard to build relationships with our clients. He has quickly gained respect from his peers and is a true team player.

Nicole’s passion and dedication are transparent in every aspect of her work. She handles her team with grace, has built trust in others and is a fantastic team member. Nicole has taken on revamping IL2000’s audit process with a champion mindset, running a grueling boot camp to set up the audit team to sustain the new volume of business set to onboard. Nicole has exemplified what it takes to be a true team player; long hours and pulling double duty while ensuring the day-to-day doesn’t suffer.



Josh DeKoninck (Default - BlueCanvas)


Josh is always available to help out and has an immensely positive attitude. He goes above and beyond to explain the interworkings of LTL operations and does what he can to make the company successful, including running training across various teams from ops to sales. Josh provides a high level of knowledge, keeps the teams engaged, and treats everyone equally. No matter what the issue is, he jumps in and assists.

Steffanie has a great attitude, a wealth of knowledge, and patience to help others on the team. She also processes at inhuman speeds! She is always willing to help and jump in, even when not asked. This employee shines bright and is a superstar.

Tiffany has been a true leader in her operations team, jumping in to help train and develop new employees while still giving our customers stellar customer service. She is a great team player, and her work ethic is a force to be reckoned with! It is a pleasure to have her on the team.

Jake always has the client's best interest at heart and goes above and beyond to support others within the organization. His diligent work has been instrumental in training new employees. Jake has also been key to maintaining one of our key client accounts.

When Tricia joined our team a few months ago, she hit the ground running, taking on some of the most challenging tasks. She shows keen attention to detail and is not afraid to make recommendations on how to fix issues for the team and our clients. Some have referred to this employee as a rockstar! We are so happy to have her on our side!

Liesel has handled the flawless onboarded two large clients simultaneously. Even while investing countless hours and endless meetings to ensure these implementations went smoothly, she guided other departments, answered questions, and jumped in to help others at any opportunity.


Greg Tucker (Default - Blue Canvas)


Greg has taken the Finance & Admin department by storm with his efficiency and ability to lead projects with precision - everything from improving financial reporting accuracy for the international team to across-the-board accounting improvements. He has the uncanny ability to anticipate and avoid a situation even before it occurs. He is an amazing addition to the IL2000 family in all departments.

Ashley has been a true asset to the international team, constantly helping our customers with difficult issues and going above and beyond to get things done. Our customers call her an absolute godsend and a superstar and know they can count on her, even helping a client in need locate cargo with a shipment that wasn't routed with IL2000.

Craig jumped in to help and assist the integration team with accounting on the new ERP System. He provided countless hours of trouble shooting and being the “know all” of Il2000!

 Lynne Vogl is always willing to help IL2000 employees as well as our clients. She volunteers to take on additional projects without hesitation. She gives us the tools with her custom business intelligence reports to identify potential issues and opportunities to create volume for the clients.

Nicole has rallied her team! She has been a true inspiration to the audit team, motivating them to achieve their goals, and always encouraging her staff to do their best every day. She is always positive and that reflects in her work and with all her peers.
